Squad Legends Firing - Survival Battlegrounds is a mobile action game developed by Liberty Action Games. In this free-to-play game, you will be challenged to survive on an island filled with enemies. Your goal is to kill them all using the weapons and loots you scavenged.
At first glance, Squad Legends Firing plays like other popular battle royale games, such as PUBG and Garena Free Fire. It even has the same premise of dropping you off on the island from a helicopter. However, unlike the action shooter games, this is a single-player game with no multiplayer option.
How do you play the game?
Squad Legends Firing - Survival Battlegrounds comes with gameplay typical to battle royale games. In the game, you will parachute onto an island, where you will scavenge for weapons and other supplies that can help you survive. However, as mentioned, the similarities to battle royale games end there. The enemies are AI, and you have a number of enemies you need to kill to complete the mission for each round.
However, players will be happy to know that they can choose a weapon even before they start the game. They are even given grenades, which they can use anytime. Although, you only have limited use of them. Additionally, you can choose your player and customize their look. However, note that weapons and characters need to be unlocked with the money you earned.
Players will also be disappointed with the dull graphics, which often glitches. Moreover, the controls are a bit imprecise, making the character movement awkward. The game is also slow to start, and you will spend a few minutes aimlessly walking around the island. And as this is a free game, expect video advertisements to pop up every time. Worse, there is no option to skip them.
Is the game good?
At first glance, Squad Legends Firing - Survival Battlegrounds looks to be another battle royale game you can play on your mobile. However, the similarities only end at the premise. It does not have an online multiplayer mode. The graphics are also sub-par, made worse by the imprecise control. It also does not help that the app is an ad factory, with video averts playing now and then.
